Stop Sign Templates for Educators
You don’t have to go far down the street to see a stop sign at some point. Unsurprising, because the stop sign is one of the most popular traffic signs. Being such an important sign, you can’t skip it when teaching children about road safety, so having a printed stop sign template around can be useful.
Stop Sign Template
There are quite a few uses for a stop sign template. When kids are learning about road safety, a stop sign template can be used as part of traffic training activities. Managing a classroom can be difficult at times, so the teacher can employ a stop sign to get the students’ attention. It can also serve as an indicator for rooms or areas where you don’t want kids to go. Considering the school year starts anywhere from August to early September, it’s a good idea to be prepared and a printed stop sign might come in handy.
Printable Stop Sign
My good friend, a teacher, asked me if I could make a printable stop sign that her students could color. She wanted to teach the kids about road safety and traffic rules and thought that a coloring stop sign could help. This stop sign template is easy to print and can be used in the classroom, at home, at traffic safety events or in road awareness campaigns.
Blank Stop Sign
This sign retains the shape and color of a standard stop sign, but lacks the word “STOP” written in white on it. It’s a blank red octagon (a polygon with eight sides) which can be customized with various text or icons.
These stop sign templates can be a valuable resource to educators who want to teach children about traffic safety and road signs. My hope is that they’ll help kids learn about the meaning of the stop sign and its use on our roads.
